October 3, 2008

Well now, how time does fly when you're having so much fun working again and keeping busy. I finally became a contract employee at PSE, that way they don't have to pay any benefits, don't need any as I have all we need. I've been very busy working on different projects. My latest is a compressor evaluation for British Petro in Wyoming.

Jean is doing all she loves to do, being a house wife, working out, cooking and playing her music. We are still trying to get on top of the migraines though. If she works out in the gym every day, her croinic fatigue doesn't kick in.

We are comming upon our 1 year date, and are getting prepared to be sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

We would like to have all the families and grand children come here for a Christmas party and gift exchange this year, if we can get every body on board for it. I sure miss seeing the Grand Children, and they grow up so fast.

March 15, 2008

Here it is another month, can't belive where the time goes. I've been busy at Precision Engineering Service writg specifications. Went to Winnamucca, Nevada on the 3rd to look at a project, spent two days and then got pneumonia and spent the next 4 days in the Hospital. What a drag, went back to work on Monday and got a new assignment to design a fire sprinkler system for the project I'm working on. I finsihed the writing of Pump and Pipe specifications for class 150, still have more to go later when time allows.

This company is great, they give us old geasers a place to contribute and still have some freedom to go and do the things we want.

Jean is doing okay, having a lot of problems with her Migraine Headaches though, we are trying to find a solution medically. Along with her cronic fatigue it's a challange. She is spending a lot of time with her music which helps and makes her happy. I just love to listen, never had so much music in my life and I love it.

We are planning a trip to St. George next weekend to visit and see some sun. It will be nice to get away.

February 17, 2008

Wow, time does fly when your having fun. It has heen a busy month, both Jean and I went to work full time. I started working for the Fairfield Inn at the International Center and Jean for an Investenet Firm in west Jordan.

Last week I was offered a post with an Engineering Firm in Sandy, so I took it to get back into the field. Jean became ill and is suffering from Cronic Fatigue Syndrome and had to quit. She is under her Doctors care to find an answetr to what can be done to help her. Mean while, I am enjoying working again and doing something useful with my time. I am writing specifications for projects and assisting in research.

Gina was here today for Dinner with us, it was good to visit and find out how the World Traveler is doing, we are so excited for her and looking forward to her home comming. We are planning to have a get togeather here when June returns with a slide show and a blow by blow discription. So get ready to mark your calenders and set the time aside to come and see a new Young Woman and hear about her experience. We will be having dinner and all will be asked to bring a dish.

We are also looking forward to going to St. George for a spring break as soon as we can find the time.

January 26, 2008

The month of January is drawing to a close, spent the last weekend in Cody, Wyoming with Rochelle, Kim and Ethan. Sure was cold, we visited a lot and Jean loved to go and see the animals, she loved the goat. The temperature was down to -12 and didn't get above 0 all the time we were there.

Now I know why I like Salt Lake, of course living in St. George in the winter has it's merits.

We hope that each of you have a good and prosperous new year.

I start working again on Monday at the Fairfield at the International Center. Hope to stay busy and out of trouble. Jean has some real chances on the horizon, hope one opens up soon.

A NEW Year

Hi All,

Here we are into a new year, it sure seems like a life time ago when Sharon left, she was a GREAT lady and we all miss her, especially me. I've given a lot of thought as to her illnesses and the one that caused her heart failure. I just wish that there was more we could have done to save her. I know that Heavely Father took her to a place with less stress and problems to deal with. I know that each of her children Debbie, Jerry and Robert all miss her greatly, it's not easy to loose your Mother, I know I lost mine a few years ago, but she was ready to go and it's okay. Sharon was taken unexpectedly, but it's okay also because she is in a better place with Christine and her Mother, a place she wanted to go to.

But now to the future, I love all of my children and grandchildren with all of my heart. I miss being with them as they grow and wish that Debbie, Jerry and Tobert would soften their hearts and invite me into their lives fully.

I want them to know that I do love Jean, she will never take Sharon's place, but she brings comfort and support into my life. I cannot live alone, it's my personallity and has nothing to do with them nor their lives, it's who I am, sho I've been since I was 21 years of age. I hope that they might take the time to read this and come to an understaning. I also am enjoying establishing a relationship with her children and grandchildren. I have come to know Jonathon, and Maddie, they are sweet children and are easy to fall in love with.

Hi Family,

Well here we are into a new week in the new year. Things are progressing well, Bruce has been released from the mission and is looking for full time or even part time emplyment to keep busy. Jean is still looking for a job and has interviews this week, hopefully one will be fruitful.

We are still enjoying the comfort and solitude of our condo and do not miss the shoveling of snow and being out in the cold unless we have to go somewhere.

We hope that all of you are enjoying your lives and each other. {leas keep in touch.

Granddaughters Samantha, Stacy, June and Jane are all back in school. Sam graduates this spring and is looking forward to Graduate School somewhere, June is off in the orient on her study trip of a life time, she is doing well even though she has suffered sea sickness, but all in all she is doing great.

Let us know what is going on in your lives.

Hi Family,

Here it is a new year and we're just getting our feet on the ground. It has been a wonderful Holiday season, being able to visit with Steph and her Family in December, and to have Tiffany and Family here for Christmas Dinner with Gina and June was so great.

We are looking forward to a great new year. Bruce was down woth a cold over the New Year so we stayed home and enjoyed the quiet time.

June is off on her adventure to the Far East, India, Affrica and Europe, it's such a great chance for her to learn more about the world and what others live like.

We are planning a visit to Rochelle's this month.

Bruce compleates his mission this month and is going back to work full time and Jean is still looking for work.

Keep in touch.
